Eoghan Burke (AKA Fia Rua) is a singer/songwriter, actor and ballad singer from Co. Kildare, Ireland. Eoghan has released four acclaimed albums and toured extensively with various theatre companies and bands. Recent work includes In The Midst Of Plenty, a folk musical set at the time of the famine which has just completed a national tour in Ireland with Enchanted Croi Theatre and Playboy Of The Western World – The Musical, which brought a rock n roll show to the classic JM Synge play.
Eoghan is well acquainted with European audiences, having done four Autumn tours in Germany and Switzerland with Wilde Shamrock Touring Theatre.
Eoghan also writes and performs his own theatre productions, winning a “Best Writing” award in 2019 for his play From The Plains – The Story Of John Devoy which he brought to New York to rave reviews.
Eoghan has always been inspired by The Dubliners, ever since watching the Late Late Show special as a 10 year old boy in 1988. He has toured with Seven Drunken Nights since 2023.
