Aidan Keene

Aidan trained in D.I.T Rathmines earning his B.A in Dramatic performance, from there he has travelled Europe with various touring productions with the Wilde Shamrock Touring Theatre Company. While Aidan trained as an actor his roots are in music having been singing and playing Irish folk since his young teens. The son of two music lover's he was introduced to the "session" very early in life and never looked back, never happier than when he's in a bar with an instrument on his lap singing and playing. The Dubliners hold a special place in Aidan's heart, Luke Kelly in particular being a huge influence on him. Aidan believes that there is no greater gift that we as a nation have provided to the world than our songs and stories and he looks forward to sharing them again with eager audiences, particularly if they feel like joining in, because it's hard to feel sad when you're singing a good song.
